Frozen Dinner

We didn't have a frozen dinner tonight, not a big fan of those but they are okay when there is nothing else to eat or it has been a long day. No, what was frozen was my computer. In the midst of trying to read discussions and out of nowhere my computer just freezes. I tried doing ctrl atl delete and that didn't work. Tried a few other things and nope! Just nothing was happening. So I just smothered my laptop (hard reset of the power button) and restarted it and it turned back on. It was so weird, I think the computer got a little too hot. Because...once again. It is FREAKING HOT! I waited for my computer to cool off before I turned it back on. Ugh, no more computer. Just don't do that, I need you. For dinner we had some bbq chicken pieces, always delicious, a salad, because healthiness and salads are pretty good, and then some instant potatoes because we don't have any regular potatoes and I just really like bbq stuff with potatoes. Just dipping the chicken in the potatoes is one of my favorite things to do.

We had chicken parm. Always good. And some veggies. If you have a laptop computer, don't leave it plugged in all the time. That could freeze the computer and kill the battery. If you don't leave it plugged in all the time, then maybe there is a hard drive issue. Hopefully it don't happen again.

I don't leave my computer plugged in all the time haha it only froze because it got a little too warm because it was like 95 degrees in my room. And chicken parm is pretty good!

@DesirousDreamer Yeah, those laptops have that ability to get hot. That's why I don't have one. But I did hear that Apple laptops like the MacBook are much better in the heat. But they are all machines. I am sure it will be many years away before they come out with a laptop that will not be bothered by the heat. Or the extreme cold.

@inertia4 Nope! I had a MacBook pro and it was terrible in the heat. It is made out of complete metal instead of plastic and so it heats up a lot faster.

Mashed potatoes are made to have something dipped in. That's what you mean by instant potatoes, right? As you didn't specify "mashed", I thought it could have been another type of potato. Computers are our bringer of joy and sorrow, we can't deny that. I had to fix my mother's one. She told me she thought she caught a virus and bla bla. All solved now, I think. This is what happens when you don't look after the antivirus, I don't know how long the one she had wasn't working. I discovered Windows 10 has an embedded antivirus and switched it on.

I love BQ chicken, it's really delicious, especially with potatoes and a vegetable. Sorry, your computer is freezing up, my daughter's does that, too.

Should it be getting that hot? Something could be wrong - but I don't know what.
