well, as of now, I didn't try to comment on the long post, the topic is good, but when I clicked, and see about the long post, the last thing I can do is to like the post.

MyLot members have the attention span of a mayfly (The lifespan of an adult mayfly can vary from just 30 minutes to one or even two days depending on the species). I've got a long list of posts I wrote for other sites, book reviews, travel reports etc. They have between 1.500 and 2.000 words. The members of those sites used to read them as the comments show. When I want to use them on myLot, I have to butcher them. I don't dare to confront a myLot member with more than 500 words. The producers on one-line 'discussions' may snore already after the fifth sentence.

@pgntwo Oh, yes, butchered. When I look at my old dooyoo and ciao reviews, I really wonder what kind of members were/are on these sites. The do read long posts!

When a member takes the trouble to write a long post , it essentially means that he or she is sharing a lot of information on the subject ..I like reading long posts ..

Depends on my mood, but it was WAY too long I would stop half way and look for another that's way too simple.

I prefer long interesting posts. I skip short ones.

I have read a lot of the longer discussion on Mylot. I learn a lot from them. Sometimes; I can not think of a response to leave on the discussion though.
