Frosty Friday

Happy Friday Everyone!! Well, it finally got cold and I woke up this morning to frost on the ground. The sun is shining so it actually looks warmer than it is. I think Fall has finally arrived. I woke up this morning to the dog barking and since she kept barking I had to come downstairs to see what was going on. Of course by the time I got out of bed and downstairs she had stopped. I looked out of the window and didn't see anything that could have caused her to bark but once I was up I stayed up. As I'm sitting here at my computer I can see my neighbor starting to take all of his furniture off his deck and put it away for the winter. Looks like our days of sitting outside are quickly coming to an end. I haven't even thought about putting mine away yet but I guess I should. I have to brag a little about my granddaughter as last night they had a ceremony at school where she and other students were inducted into the honor society. She's 16 yrs old and the one I talk about all the time with her marching band. So far she seems to have her head on straight and hopefully a bright future ahead of her. My only plans for today include catching up here and getting some housework done. My daughter is at work and I don't have the car so I'm stuck at home. I have to add that I finally called and made an appointment to get my haircut!! I'm going tomorrow Now I'm off to get on with my day and hopefully you're enjoying this Friday (TGIF)

Hope your day went well. It's Saturday here and cold again so although we had packed the wood away we're going to light the fire tonight so it will be nice and cosy for our games night.

That is what Roscoe will do, bark and bark outside and when he hears me coming he stops! I think I will let my hair grow. Congrats to the Granddaughter.

That's wonderful to be inducted into the Honor Society, you must be so proud. I used to hate having to put away the outside furniture. I loved being outside during the cooler weather.

A very rainy Friday - rained through the night . However I am looking forward to a bright productive day otherwise.
