Are You Serious?!!!!!!

I have just about had it with the punk, out-of-control, kids of today. I'm just about ready to hop in my car and drive to Ohio and thoroughly SPANK a 10-year-old boy. Did you catch the news about what this kid did?? He was 'bored' so he decided to steal the family car and go on a joy ride that put many lives in danger. With speeds of up to 100 mph, he led officers for 45 miles down highways and ditches. When finally stopped, the officers literally dragged him out of the car; at which time he tried spitting in the faces of the officers and tried kicking them. Are you kidding me????? That boy needs a belt across his bottom.
A 10-year-old Ohio boy didn’t spend his Thursday morning in school, or at home playing video games. Instead, he led highway patrol officers on a high-speed car chase reaching speeds of almost 100 miles per hour.

Wow!. I can just imagine what he is like at home - much worse than Dennis the Menace.

LOL, you got that right @Kandae11 . If this kid has some kind of 'problem', they should have already addressed the issues.

That's insane and way too young for that kind of behavior! Apparently he was not taught any manners or respect at home. Can't imagine what his adult life will be like... He needs a good butt whooping, I agree!

I'm sure his parents let him get away with a lot of stuff @LovingMyBabies . If he's doing this at age 10, oh yeah, I can just imagine what it will be like as he gets older. You hold him, I'll whoop him.

@nanette64 Unfortunately by 10 it's usually WAY too late unless a miracle happened. He needs a lot of prayer to change his ways at this point.

Yeah, but I think his parents need it more. Some people have no business having kids.

How on earth did he get access to the car. His parents must be irresponsible.

Chances are the keys were just laying around somewhere @jaboUK . This kid's probably never been told "NO" in his life.

@nanette64 I just hope it's not too late. His parents are probably 90% to blame, if not more.

The Penal system probably will have a cell reserved for him. It is sad to see this sort of thing happening, because it is the parent's fault mostly.

Yes it is the parents fault @sumofalltears . The kids probably been given everything he ever asked for and has probably never been told "NO".

I think having him go to a Detention Center or Work Farm where there are 'rules' would be a good thing @allen0187 .

Unfortunately he must be reflecting the behavior he has learned growing up with his parents. They obviously is not disciplined enough. Hopefully since he is only ten perhaps things can be turned around.

Kids today will call the cops on their parents if they get spanked. And see where that has gotten us as parents have lost total control of their kids. It's a shameful turn of events.

@fishtiger58 I spanked my daughter a few times but what she hated the most was having to stand in the corner for 1/2 hour.

You wonder how laws like that get passed in the first place @fishtiger58 . When I was a kid, my Dad's favorite spanking weapon was a section of garden hose with the ends split and my Moms was a solid, silver belt with raised stones. Let me tell you, we didn't screw up very often.

@nanette64 Yup things were different back then. I never spanked my kids but thankfully they grew up straight and strong. They are productive members of society and never gave us much trouble. And they never disrespected us.

Sounds like a young man that needs to learn about manners and respect. I did not see it. I do not watch or listen to Fox News.

@Hannihar That's where the parents should step in and start monitoring who their kid hangs around with.

@nanette64 Or maybe Nanette his parents tried to teach him and maybe he hangs out with the wrong kids and learns things from them.

I read another article about it. This was his second car theft this month. He needs more than a spank across the bottom, and his mom needs one as well.

I'm sure with you on spanking the mom too @FourWalls . If I would have done something like this when I was a kid, I wouldn't be alive today. My Dad & Mom would have made sure of that.

Definitely the parents are at fault @amadeo . Apparently this isn't the first time this kid has acted out. I think he needs some serious time in kiddie-jail.
