If At First You Don't Succeed

It's done. I got Freedom's Cry submitted this morning. So tomorrow I will approve it and it will be available by Wednesday next week. I'll also order my copy of the book. I also got Scarred on Kindle yesterday, and will do the same with Freedom's Cry tomorrow when I see it's ready for review or approval. It has been a long time in making this series complete. I started Scarred in 1980, published first in 2012, the next followed some time in the 90's, and Freedom's Cry was started in 2007. Now, ten years later, it too is published. Thirty-seven years from the first word written on paper until now. It feels like a lifetime achievement, and you might be wondering what's next. What's next is Thread of Evidence that I will start to prepare for publishing. I have 14 other books that are finished. Most need to go through as I only have the first draft on them. Thread of Evidence is the closest ready for the publishing process, so I expect it will be published next year, though when next year, I won't know until it gets close. I will also be working on other books I have in process, in particular Uncertain Future that I just started in September. So never fear, there is always a book on the horizon waiting to find a home on someone's bookshelf. If you are interested in Freedom's Cry, I do recommend starting from the beginning of the series with Scarred, then Manifest Destiny, Stowaway, and then Freedom's Cry. Yesterday, I had a brief insane thought to write a fifth book in the series, but no, I'm not going to do that. You will be able to see the entire series on Amazon under my full name - Valerie Jean Routhieaux. Have you achieved anything that has taken you a long time to complete? Thanks for reading.

Have you thought about having the 4 books together as a series. It will be 4 books, but sold for one price,

The four books are a series - Colonial America. I haven't thought that far ahead to have them sold at one price.

I hope so. One of the people I play an interactive game with sent me an address to send him copies of my books for two people to review. They are Radio personalities, and that could really jump start the royalties if they promote them after they read them. Thank you very much.

I plan to get every book from the beginning of the series - but not all at the same time.

Thank you so much! It would be a bit costly to get them all at once.
