It has been either the last couple of days of March or the first of April since the heating portion of our heat pump has been in use, but I think sometime tonight the heat may have to come on as the low is expected to be about 42 degrees and is already at 52 degrees. Even with a long sleeve shirt on I am beginning to feel the chill and hope I can stay warm til the ones who decide wheb to turn it on does even though it will only be on a day or two when we will need the air again. Poor heat pump will not know what it is going to do heat or coll til next spring when gets hot and stays hot again

Being in Florida is not bad this time of year. We are still having temperatures here in NYC around high 60's and some 70's. And it is the ned of October. I don't remember Octobers like this all my life.

@Elizaby Well, I guess there is no denying global warming at this point. Scientists have been saying for years now that this would happen. But our government didn't really listen.

@Elizaby It's good you don't need to keep it on very long.

We had to light our fire again last night as it was so cold. We had cleaned out the tile fire and taken all the wood back to the shed but we were a bit premature.
