Remembering a loved one!

Today I am sad. It has been 12 years since I lost one of the most important people in my lives. I remember it was at 2 AM. I still weep but I know he is resting with the angels. I can't believe how much I miss him despite it being over a decade

It is really hard to get over when some one very to us passed away. Even after years, the pain will stay. We wll never stop remembering how it feels to be when they are still alive.

@aureliah I think it is natural to regret the things that we didnt do while they are still here with us. But dont blame yourself or feel guilty, it is okay to cry. Talk to him through prayers, say the things you want say, that can help.

I wonder why such feeling cannot go away. Sometimes I feel guilty that I should have done more like spending more time with them giving them gifts etc

I feel you my friend. As I've posted in one of my comments here, the pain and the grief of losing a loved one never really goes away, you just have to learn to live with it. May the souls of our loved ones rest in peace forever with the Lord.

I always hope that my loved ones are happy wherever they are and if it is truly they watch over us, I want them to see how they left us
