Not Cutting It!

I'm retired. My life isn't hectic.

it's obvious i'm posting more to top up my earnings because the month is ending, but i'm also spending time at humanatic. when i post something new, i try to remember to like the response if i can't comment back to them yet. i hope you had a nice visit.

A warm wind brought back the temperature to 25 C, but it will not last, but tomorrow the temperature is supposed to drop. I went to Italy to visit my mother, we had a nice day together.

I feel like I'm in the same situation. I've been busier than ever at work (and this is supposed to be the start of my "slow season" at work), and on top of that I've been doing a lot of volunteering in the community that has kept me super busy. And with the holidays fast approaching, I feel it is going to get even busier and busier! Just over a week ago, I had caught up on all my notifications and felt good about it, and thought it would be easy-peezy to keep up. Now, here I am sitting here this morning with close to 400 notifications. How in the world did I get so far behind? lol

It was, but my life just got uncomplicated and I'm keeping up once again.

Actually , I was off for quite some time but am more regular now.the banana bread sounds good

Lately due to trying to get over a Cold and then a migraine, and then time out with Friends from church, and then my rock painting friends, etc. my time on here has been quite short as well. Just when I think I might have time to get caught up a little more, life happens but no major complaints.

I am sure anyone who interacts with you will understand that you get busy in real life and do the best you can keeping up here.

Happens to the best of us. Life gets the better of our schedule and myLot takes a backseat. Completely understandable.

I find the notifications helpful but a little intimidating. I like to keep things clean like an email page but they pile up and well it just takes time. Time we don't have?

Have you written this for me? I don't have a moment to myself it seems. I'm so behind on notifications, but I plug along as best I can. Either that, or drop all of my friends and family, which will never happen.

i wish i can always zero in my notifications, which i do at times, then i make a new discussion. sometimes i get frustrated when some mylotters respond rudely, not in my posts but on others'. well, i cannot comment on the attitude of these users; instead i try to shy away from checking on their discussions. by the way, it is getting cooler here now

Ah yes, life does seem to be speeding by on me. I feel you there. It seems like when I am busiest then my apartment building neighbors try to trap me into lengthy discussions. I don't mind when I have time, but sometimes I just don't have time. Keep warm!

My Lot is not your life! You have to remember it is just a puzzle piece in your life of a much bigger puzzle. No one will be angry because you have not responded to their post. If they do then that is a shallow way to act in my view. So, as I say to myself when I am overwhelmed, just do the best you can. That's all you can do... Just remember this quote about life and being so busy. It makes a lot of sense.

I've been so busy and it looks like getting busier as days go by so I could not even participate in discussions here most of the time, so I truly understand your busy situation. I really miss you all here so I drop by once in a while although can't really stay longer.

I'm right on top of myLot but then I live alone and can come here anytime and see what others up to. I'm not going to make a banana bread but I will make a banana soup for supper as I have 6 big ripe bananas that are ready to be eaten. Take care!

Cutting it? I need my hair cut but struggling to find the time to get it done. I suppose at my age I should be thankful I still have some! Working full time means I have little time for anything else these days, apart from the odd snooze. Banana bread sounds nice. Do you prefer yours straight or bent, or don't you mind?

What I have noticed is that time is simply flying. Can't believe that November is almost upon us and then comes the Christmas count down.

Yes there are times that am so busy that i do not remember how much time has gone by. The more busier you are the more faster time runs.
