The second to last day of the month. One of my Aunt's stepkids birthday. And.. National Candy Corn Day. Never been a fan, so gross. National Speak Up For Service Day. I guess this is a good one. National Publicist Day. Another 'no' for me. *shrugs* Maybe tomorrow.

Candy corn was one of my favorite candies this time of year. I don't think I could eat it now though with the massive sugar content it has. I think it depends on what service - if it's public service, they do deserve a shout out for keeping our streets clean and picking up our garbage. If it's military service - they always deserve a shout out. I don't have a publicist but sometimes wish I did. It would help to sell my books.

One can eat a few pieces of candy corn, but after a while, that candy corn can make a person feel sick, for me anyway.

To be fair to the candy corn.. one can get sick after awhile of eating most things. Good to know you like it though, as dont know many who do.

i have had candy corn, but it has way too much sugar for how little the pieces are. i think somebody in my sister's family likes it as she bought a bag when we went out Sunday!

The second one is about getting young people into doing community service, and the last is kind of.. obvious.. i think.

@Courtlynn Ahh, gotcha. These days, a lot of young people start working and start families, so, pass. And it is obvious, but I didn't know if it was directed at publicists for news articles, books, or just generalized. Thank you for clarifying :)
