Terror in NYC .Near the World trade Center

this is terrible news coming out of NYC .
Not sure if this is a terror attack or not.
below is some of the news we heard.

A motorist drove onto a busy bicycle path near the World Trade Center memorial in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday and fatally struck several people, then emerged from the vehicle screaming and brandishing "imitation firearms" before he was shot by police.
The afternoon incident began with a driver careening on to a pedestrian walkway and bike path, striking several people at a high speed, the New York police said via Twitter.
"There are several fatalities and numerous people injured," police tweeted. "The vehicle continued south, striking another vehicle. The suspect exited the vehicle displaying imitation firearms and was shot by NYPD."
The New York Police Department posted on its Twitter feed that one person was in custody after having been

Too much hatred and violence in our world today. Hopefully, if the report is verified that the suspect is part of ISIS, the key members fo ISIS be brought to justice and their terror group is put to an end.

The automobile seems to have become the new terrorist weapon, which sadly makes sense; the general populace can't escape vehicles so make them paranoid by using them. Very horrid.
