Kids are too smart for their britches

My daughter and her husband took their eight year old son trick or treating tonight, but earlier he wanted to go in his first haunted house. He did fine, no fright, and at the last Zombie, my grandson told him, "Dude. I know you got your costume at Walmart." Can't fool kids these days.

I remember we were not fooled even in our days. We loved to visit the haunted house when I was a kid and we were never scared at all.

I never liked those haunted houses. I wasn't scared, I just hate to be startled.

@1creekgirl I loved those haunted house that you visited riding small cars. I liked less those where you had to walk.

They know more than we do. They are too sharp for their ages.

Thanks. He's full of himself. Has a YouTube channel with 50,000 views on one of his Mindcraft videos. He's not shy a bit!

Okay, that's adorable. They need to bring back that show, "Kids say he darnedest things" but then again with the language of today's youth, it might get censored.
