The House of Cards taken down. Spacey out.

A movie lives because of character portrayal. At least that is one reason.
That is why The Negotiator and Pay It Forward were among my movie list favorites.
Kevin Spacey was a name I would likely watch a movie he appears in.
Then he played Luthor in Superman. Uh Oh. What happened there? Then American Beauty. Much acclaimed psychological story. I didn't like it.
Netflix showcased The House of Cards. After the plot thickened and revealed the true character of the supposedly protagonist, I ceased watching.
I even told the young people I knew not to watch it.
Spacey's real life character was recently unraveled. Sigh. It is not good.
The House of Cards was removed from Netflix, Good. It is a bad series.

I have not heard of the stories about Spacey. I only heard the news about Netflix removing the House of Cards. I wondered, that's all. Thus, this post. But you are right, judgment must not be made till all the facts are checked.

@grofek1 I am not sure what Netflix's contention was. Personally, I do not like the House of Cards. I have known of young people who watched the series and they became absurd. I was shocked. The series could render a life-altering response to impressionable young people.
As for Spacey, I think someone came with a criminal complaint against him. If it has something to do with his gayhood, I do not know.

That is correct supposition. We know not yet of the circumstances that brought about the story of that boy.We cannot conclude the veracity of his story until every detail has been investigated. Although a question comes to mind? Why Spacey? He is highly acclaimed for his artistry. He is not even a vulgar actor, Unless there is some truth in it.
