Long Time, No Write

November 1, 2017 11:19am CST
Hello Mylotters! My life is rushing forward, full-steam ahead, with no sign of slowing down. Ok, actually, yes, it is slowing down a little because soccer season is over. Yay! I can finally sleep late this coming Saturday! The last 10 days or so have been INSANE.... Like the song says, "Insane in the membrane, Insane in the brain!" My daughter turned 14 yesterday, but we celebrated her birthday over the weekend. There was much more happening as well. Then, of course, yesterday was halloween. We had a good time. 3 of us were dressed as zombies; one was a banana; and the other was salt (her friend was pepper). I'm suffering from an extreme sugar hangover today. Yuck. Did you celebrate Halloween?

We don't have it here though some people have started going for costume parties. Can see the banana and I suppose the smiling person at the back in white is salt

Great costumes! We are too far out of the way to have trick or treaters calling.

My husband and I sat out back in our shack and enjoyed a fire and conversation. We never get trick or treaters, but left a bowl of candy on the front porch, just in case. Nary a one came. Glad y'all had fun.

Glad you all had a great time. We didn't get any trick or treaters. I guess the kids around here go to different neighborhoods and parties in other parts of town.

I usually dress up for Halloween for myself. But this year I had a doctor appointment so I didn't. We don't have kids here so no trick or treaters. But I watch a little bit of Saw and Saw 2 last night.

Love the costumes! I didn't really celebrate Halloween this year. I carved a couple jack-o'-lanterns but then didn't even bother lighting them.

I went to bed early last night so there was no Halloween for me.
