Extremely emotional

United Kingdom

I'm feeling excessively emotional today. It's one of those things that tends to happen once a month, along with two or three days of stabby headaches These are the days when I cry at adverts, and feel like I could eat a scabby 'oss, as my Nana says It's also freezing today and Leonard's out for the morning, so I've just been sitting on my settee in a jumper, dressing gown, and thick socks. My nose is cold though, I need a balaclava!

@TiarasOceanView She also says "I'm sweating cobs" when it's too hot, and that's a shortened version of "sweating hot cobs" but I've got no idea what hot cobs are

@Srbageldog Me too but I've started to try to get over it, he's nearly one and a half and I've only just got used to thinking of him before myself when he wakes me up in the night

Oh that monthly thing . And you know just when it's coming . I get rather emotional and have those darn headaches too. It seems to be less if I regularly exercise and eat better . . . but with 2 kids and their schedules, it's difficult to do anything for "self" regularly. Chocolate makes me feel better for a while . Well, hope it comes and goes soon . . . it's a relief when you get to the point where you know done . . . at least until the next month.

The headaches are so annoying aren't they! I could cope with the rest of it if it wasn't for stabby head syndrome

I think I have still got my balaclava from my stealth days when I used to deliver chocolates to deserving ladies. Never had need of it for years, not since my accident with a sash window. Hope you're feeling better.

@LilyBeBack Good girl! I'm so proud of you! How about the cold weather though? I'm usually extra hungry when it's cold... I hope you're holding on just fine there too...

@sishy7 Yeah it's freezing here! I've been distracted from food cos Leonard's eczema is really really bad but he's out tonight so I'll probably allow myself some carbs while he's gone :')

Not yet It usually does make me extra hungry for about a week, but that hasn't come on just yet
