Successful on YouTube?

Yes, I'm surprised! I just checked my YouTube channel and I have one video that has 14,788 views. My second most successful has 3487 views and the third has 1406 views.
I never thought that that would happen. The video is about making green vegetables last longer without a fridge. I guess, one will never know what can happen.
I wish that it has been one of my songs that would have that many views. I wans't really planning on a singing career anyway.
I thought that if I ever have a video that gets 1000 views that would be an achievement.
Have you ever toyed with the idea of having your ownn YouTube channel?

That is awesome buddy. I always check the videos that teach me things. Sounds like a good video you made. I do not make Youtube videos. I hate camera's and being on video.

@1hopefulman - I liked to see your dad and brother on the videos, and many were also about growing food and healthy recipes.. and there are also some nice songs by you and others.. Crazy Banana Man was fun..

There are many different things that one can do and it doesn't have to be about you. It just needs to be something that people will want to watch. I put videos of my dad so that our relatives in other parts of the world could see him. Then I went crazy and there are now more than 100 videos a bout all kinds of things. I was having fun!

Yes, they are all monetized but unless you get hundreds of thousands of views I don't think they'll make any money. However, it is all in good fun.

That is great. I don't have a YouTube channel but I did upload a couple of videos many years ago of a trip we took to a zoo and my kids uploaded some of them playing basketball. How can I see yours, search your name on YouTube?

I have seen some of them! As you know, you can put them on private and share them only with selected people. I have some like that too.

Actually, I'm not doing well! It was just a surprise that for some reason one video had some views but 18,000 views while considerable it is very little. Nevertheless, it was a interesting surprise.
