myLot: Is this a place for "make money online" marketing?

November 3, 2017 9:05am CST
Well, lately I've seen a lot of one-line discussions being created just for the purpose of posting a link to register on some website to try to make money online and these topics are usually created - in their majority - by the newbies. Don't get me wrong, because I think if the discussion is to present some new website, I think the advertisement is valid... But not being posted without creativity, as if it were a spam link. So, my question is: Why those people just don't read the F.A.Q.? I guess this is not that hard, isn't it?

Maybe they are excited about promoting their links and did not bother to check the FAQs.

@cherriefic It could be... But it's annoying.

The relentless spammers will never stop any more than the scam-scum phone calls I receive will! I do find it interesting and useful when long-time members here post (without links, of course) about other paid writing sites, decent survey sites, etc, but that is done without any direct gain for themselves apart from the responses they get to their posts.

Maybe people do read the FAQs, but don't really care what is there, and think they will get away with it.
