I'm in another store!!!!

I make them entirely by hand. I also make the joints so their arms, legs and head move. Plus I design the bears too. The three bears in the picture are jointed and my design. I'm starting fresh with the bear designs as all my designs were destroyed in the fire last month. I have designed one that I am making out of the mohair fabric that I salvaged. I committed a portion of the profits to go to the various animal rescue groups in my area. When I get them finished I'll post a picture of them here on the Lot.

Yes, I started making them 30 years ago. I love making them and seeing the joy they bring to others. I'm starting from scratch again as everything except a bit of bear making fabric and some bears I have in another store. I even made the joints for the bears and those burned too. So now, with the sewing machines destroyed in the fire I am sewing them by hand too...the only part not made by me will be the joints. Those I ordered a couple of days ago. ( I used a drill and hole saws to make the joints..those were also destroyed. It is amazing me how destructive a fire can be!)
