And yet again one of Dad's carers...

Honestly. The other day he had another one trying to change him and dress him in her outdoor coat. My mum had to ask her to take it off. I mean to say, would you change a doubly incontinent man in your coat? They are meant to wear uniform, apron and use gloves. It is for their safety as much as anything else. How can anyone be so very stupid! I complained and then today the carers did not turn up this morning at all. I don't know what will happen, but the doctor came a week or so ago and my mum pointed out Dad got a hairline fracture in his finger as a result of their handling Dad. She was worried about making a fuss, but of course, the doctor when he heard has to report that. I told him a lot of other stuff. You just cannot make it up!

Wow... Sad when peoplr are like this and supposed to be more caring. Unfortunately unless people are watching many do not care about people they treat. GLAD YOU turned it in and hope something good comes from it

When my Mom was in an assisted living home, her mind was sharp as a tack. She would tell those ladies right out, not that way, or you will end up hurting me! Believe it or not, they did listen

Unfortunately, most of these do not. This is the second time Dad got injured because they would not stop when he said they were hurting him. Unfortunately, with no body movement he cannot always get them to realise he still has a brain....

@Jackalyn Even an amateur nursing assistant should know better! Pain and injury during transporting, is physical, patient abuse!

Maybe they are finding others to come out. That is terrible. Glad you reported it.

She is not a competent carer and seems not to receive any training in the job.
