Another day with no birthdays or things like that. But it is.. National Candy Day. Which I "celebrated" a few hours ago by finishing the last square of a caramello bar I started eating yesterday. It's also my favorite candy, so that's another way I "celebrated" the day. National Chicken Lady Day.. Okay, that's just funny.. I had to laugh. But it's about some lady who worked in a big chicken resturant.. eh not important to me for a day. National Bison Day.. First Saturday in November.. I guess they should have their own day..

Hmmm...I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about National Bison Day. We have a huge heard of bison that live in a state preserve just on the outskirts of our city. They are quite the popular attraction (when you can spot the heard, they are quite elusive and don't like to be around people), and people come from all over the southeast to try to get a glimpse of them. Not many people know this, but bison are native to Florida as well as the midwest, and use to roam the state by the millions. Now, only this one herd of bison remain.

@Courtlynn Yeah, but I don't exactly pay attention to the news, so it is very possible that there was a lot of hoopla about it and I just didn't hear or pay attention.
