Extra blankets

I find I sleep best if I have the weight of extra blankets on. It is not for the warmth but just for the cozy feeling.
I also sleep better if I can get the cat to give me my spot in bed. She is a bed hog.
Pretty Princess knows how to be warm and comfy. She prefers to do it on my side of the bed.
I did have a good night's sleep though. I am thankful to be up and rested this morning. I am also thankful for extra blankets.

@LadyDuck She may also feel that I need more attention and care and she is providing it. We have heated mattress pad and his side is turned to a higher temp than mine is so his side is warmer.

Cats will always go where they are loved.
Extra blankets are what I have fetched out today also.
Brrr seems like we are really going to need them now.

I love lots of blankets for the same reason love that weight, hubby doesn't so he just takes his side down.

Right now Princess prefers me. On me, beside me, or at least my side of the bed. When the weather is warm she is elsewhere.

I just have a knit afghan and sheet on my bed. There is a light duvet at the foot, but so far I haven't needed it. I had the bedroom window open until a couple days ago.
I miss sleeping with a cat, though.

Yes, we have had a comforter on all year. I am just doubling up now. Princess gets her share of shoving and bumping and she loves me anyway, or loves my bed.

I sleep better with the weight of blankets as well. I kind of want to get a weighted blanket to see if that would actually help me sleep better.

I actually love flannel sheets in the winter, but my bedmate does not. He likes to have about 4 or 5 heavy blankets though.
