I got in late yesterday and went to bed hoping to sleep through the night. However I was woken up by the strangest of noises. It was really loud and as if a boiler was going to blow up. I looked inside, outside, everywhere and couldn't trace the source of this weird noise. I was getting really worried when I went into the bathroom. I have a massage thing for the bath and it has turned itself on and was lying face down. I couldn't turn it off whatever I did so I took the thing apart and pulled the batteries away from each other. Back in bed I was startled by the noise beginning again and rushed back to find that the batteries and reattached themselves and the whole thing was vibrating like mad only now it was on top of the toilet cistern! In desperation I took the batteries right out and so far the things seems to behaving itself, but I am getting quite worried as the how the thing turned itself on in the first place!

This is really weird, surely there is something wrong with the on/off mechanism.

@Jackalyn I think you have a cat, may be the cat is the one to blame.

I am glad you found the cause of the noise but all the trouble you went through to try to stop it was not fun at all. Did you get any sleep at all?

Maybe you have a ghost? Or a secret lodger? Or Freya has developed opposable thumbs? Oooh, I love a mystery. It's probably worth telling the manufacturer, even if it's quite old, and definitely if it isn't old at all.

To be honest, it is so very old I have no idea who the manufacturer is and I cannot see a name. I am so glad I do not believe in ghosts! As for Freya, she is hibernating.
