Aftermath of the Storm

So trees down in the lot, and we lost a few things but nothing that cant be replaced in time. It was a tornado that hit Erie. Sadly there was 2 deaths but not from the tornado, but from flooding. The worse after the police and all left the house, someone went in after and robbed them! I was astonished!! Who the heck does that!?

@Courtlynn You would think at my age things wouldn't me but they do, maybe it is because I'm in the country and a lot of this stuff doesn't happen out here?

Sadly that seems to be becoming more common, that thieves go in and rob people during/after a disaster. When we were evacuated in February because the Oroville Dam's emergency spillway was in danger of failing, people stayed behind and looted! Thankfully they caught the thieves and arrested them, but really, how awful of a human being do you have to be to do something like that?

That is what I thought I was in awe that someone would do something like that, my husband says I always react that way because it is something I would never ever even think of doing to anyone. He is right to, I just cant believe people are like this.

@Ithink I can't comprehend it either. Some people have no conscience I guess.

@Ithink Yet they walk our streets daily, freely doing as they please! Ruthlessly killing others, as if their lives means nothing at all:(

Some people are just evil and thoughtless. I leave it to God to decide what they deserve but I would make them rot in Hell.

I just couldn't get over that there had to be someone in the crowd waiting for the coroner and police to leave and then broke in and took stuff. Just stymies me.

@Ithink It is beyond comprehension for anyone with a soul or a conscience. But there are always those who will take advantage of any situation.

Thank you, I'm just hoping it stays calm for awhile. Our weather is so nuts lately.

that is very awful of them, but some people are just desperate these days. Let's just hope karma gets to them
