The funny thing is, I didn't plant any marigolds this past summer, so evidently these grew from some dormant seeds from last year. I was just very surprised to see them in the pot.

@IreneVincent I planted lots of seed a year ago, nothing showed! I do hope that they would pop up one day (the marigold and Californian poppy).

I don't pay enough attention to flowers to notice lol. But weather has been off lately. Least here.

Yes, the weather patterns have changed in recent years and that creates unusual growth of plants in some areas.

They are lovely. Yes, it is odd but odd things are happening everywhere. I am thankful that here in Latvia we are having unusually warm weather for us in November. Makes keeping the house warm easier and makes everything better. We also see things growing which should have been dormant until spring again. I don't know what these berries are but I took the photo along the roadside and they looked so lovely while all around there are signs of autumn.

I wonder what the berries are? So many odd things are happening with the change in weather patterns.

It is rather strange to see these types of flowers blooming so late in the year.

@IreneVincent Definitely, but the cold last night killed most of my blooms.

Those are beautiful marigolds. We tried growing them here in the Philippines sometime July but the seeds never germinated.

These seeds were dormant for quite a while and then suddenly decided to grow and bloom. So strange.
