Someone entered in our compound and stole the bike of my neighbor. It's their fault they should keep the bike inside the house not just in the washing area without a padlock. It's quite expensive and my uncle use it to stroll around when he is bored. We should be extra careful there are many thieves lurking around at night and even day time. Someone in facebook posted that somebody is selling him a bike for a very low price now my parents are hunting the possible suspect in stealing. I wish they can recover it back

While I think we should be careful how we keep our stuff, I do not think it is their fault. No one should steal from anyone and thieves are always the ones at fault and wrong.

That's true. No one should steal in the first place.

That's what people do, they steal items and then, sell them online for a 100% profit!:(

@SIMPLYD We have dogs but they know where it is so they could have avoided to be seen. They walk near our house away from dog

Yes that's true. They thought they lock the gate that is enough and no one will be interested in the bike

I'm sorry for your neighbor, hope he gets it back. Here it's also not safe to leave bikes outside without a lock.

I have a heavy scooter and I put many locks on it. That is my transportation and I need it to be in working shape or order.

They are careless. They should keep the bike in the kitchen not just in the laundry area

even motorcycles are not spared from thieves, how much more for a bike that can be taken when the chains are cut off. i hope the bike is recovered now.

The bike is lighter than a motorcycle. Our motorcycle is just outside the house but it has a chain and padlock.

That's true. Just because the gates are locks does not mean they cannot jump and enter our compound
