How many of you get your bills every month and or every two months?

I get my electricity bill, water and gas every two months and get my phone bill every month. That helps that most of the bills do not have be paid every month. I set up with the bank for the bills to go out of my bank account to be paid that way. It is much easier than having to go to the post office and pay them.

Every month I pay the light and every three the water and the rubbish thing. The internet is paid every month also. Post office here only opens two hours in the morning and you have to be an early riser to get there as they close at half past then in the morning.

lovinangelsinstead21, those are weird hours. Is there a day that the post office opens more hours? Wow, every 3 months. The water and gas bills I do not worry about. It is the electric bill I hate.

@Hannihar That is the same here because even if you don´t use a lot of power they will not bother about that only charging for the same amount even if you don´t live in the actual house great business I would say. Sorry nearly forgot the Post Office only opens those hours and no other that is the way it is so we don´t get frustrated we find other ways around it all.

all of mine come out every month, except for trash pick up. Those are every 3 month and the price changes based on current/ expected cost of gas.

That is good Rasma. That is too bad you have to pay every month and not get a break for one month.

I get bills every month. The oil for the furnace and propane gas varies by usage. We do get two electric bills a month which is maddening, but one is for our condo in Florida.

@Hannihar Our house is heated by fuel oil in our oil burner. It's a huge expense, even when we leave it running all winter to keep the pipes from freezing.

@DianneN I can imagine. I leave a heater on for Sophie in the winter when I have to go out so she can be warm. It is very cold inside and outside here in winter. I remember studying Hebrew at a place in winter and there was one small heater in the front only and those that sat in the back froze. I got sick and they could not understand why I did.

Dianne, thanks for explaining why you get two electric bills. wondered before I read the rest why you would get two of them. I have never heard of an oil bill for the furnace before.

I only have one bill I pay every six months - my car insurance, otherwise all my bills are every month.

@Hannihar I prefer it that way. I'm on a fixed income. So I can't handle more than one month at a time.

@just4him Valerie, then that is good that they do it that way for you.

At first when I read what you said Valrerie I thought you only have one bill to pay and then read the rest. That is too bad the other bills are every month unless you do not mind it that way.

We have a few bills that we pay by direct deposit and others that we pay online.
