Do you agree with Shane?

Believe it or not, I just started watching The Walking Dead. But no, I’m not going to talk about this zombie-filled series. In the very first episode though, before the gruesome turn of events, Shane was complaining to Rick that he’s never met a woman who knew how to turn off the lights. That the women in his life were born thinking the switch only goes one way. And that his job was to turn off every single light those chicks have turned on. And I was like, oh c’mon! Not all, Shane. Not all.
Then I went out of my room a few minutes ago to get a glass of water and wow, I was almost blinded by the lights in the living room. The kitchen too was glowing. Not to mention the toilet. The house was as bright as fireworks during a hot summer night. Yet not a single soul was present. My housemates, all respectable ladies, in their respective bedrooms ready for a good night sleep.
So I turned off all the lights, defeated, laden with embarrassment. And I could see Shane shaking his head with the ‘I told you so’ look from afar.

@toniganzon And you are right, my father never did, my husband never does. I have to turn the house before going to sleep, I always find at least two rooms with the lights on and he is already in bed.

Mostly I do the switching off but I must say Shane is correct most of the time.

lol Yes it is my husband too who leaves lights on, I am always going around turning them off.
