Excitement on our street

Was standing at the kitchen window and saw the police fly down toward the creek. We live on a dead end street so no place to really go except down the road to a few neighbors.
We have an alert page on Facebook so brought up a page and sure enough information is there. Someone robbed Foxes Pizza at knife point and they jumped in the creek after running from the place. Now if they don't get somewhere warm or don't get caught right away I imagine they are going to be mighty cold.
This is something that does not happen here often so it is a surprise, of course the creek is right in back of our house too.

Those robbers are just so dumb and maybe they are caught by now. Or maybe freezing in a place where they are hiding.

Wow. Just so long as the dumb bunny stays away from you and your house. I found out that my rural neighborhood has a watch page on Facebook, too. At first I found it amusing that they list when the mail carrier has delivered mail then I realized that there have been mailbox robberies so I understood.

Everything here is locked up tight as you just never know. He is still on the loose too. If outside still I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it. Wet, freezing with this wind wouldn't be a nice time. It is 28 degrees and they are calling for snow.

My neighborhood is kind of quiet except when the holidays come around and some pastors come to my sisters home to ask us to visit their church.
