I've been working full-time for several weeks at my latest temp job, and I have several more weeks to go, it looks like. So now that I've been in the "typical workweek" mode, I treasure Fridays. At work, we normally have to dress up, but on Fridays we can wear jeans (like most Americans, I love my jeans). My husband and I treat ourselves to pizza and watch our shows together that we've taped. Also, I love Fridays because I can stay up late! This Friday is particularly nice, because it's the first day all week that has been sunny.

I never pictured you as a "temp" guy. The things you learn. Anyway, wish I could still get a response from you. Rest easy, my man. You are missed.

I used to work for a mutual fund company in Denver. Everyday was casual day. Very laid back. I wore shorts all the time.

Wow, that IS casual for a financial company--did you guys mostly work on the phone? I'd be too cold in shorts, especially in Colorado!

Friday's where I work are "leave at 3pm day", if you've worked your allotted hours for the week.

Do you ever switch up the menu - like Chinese instead of pizza?

Nope. We do go out for Chinese, sometimes, but DVR and pizza night has to have pizza, lol

I have been at my current job for 9 years and I am ready to tell them to pound sand. lol. Usually I'd stay in a job about 3-5 years and then take a year off before the next one. This one just pays me too well, I guess, so I am still here. lol
