When should you quit your job?

You're born, you live, and you die. That's three things that are certain in your life. How long you live, well, that's different for each individual. But if you're going to live, you might as well spend your life working with something you love. You work a little more than half of your life, thus, you should be working with something that you love. You should not work at your job just for a paycheck, if GFX designing is what you love doing, no matter how much you earn, you should do it! This probably doesn't sound very convincing, but let me give you some perspective. I'm going to give you a visualization that will make you better understand WHY it is important to choose a job that you love. ------ |You work here| ------ _____________________ 0 10 20 30 40 50 60 70 80 The average life expectancy in most countries is around 80, you might live a little bit longer than that, and you might live a little bit less than that. Most people start working at 18, and then you work all the way to 65. That means that you've worked for a total of 47 years! That means you've spent more than half of your life working. Sure, being a kid is nice, retiring is nice. But what about all those years in between that? These should not just be a "write off" and just "waiting for Friday", and "just get through it", "can't wait till retirement". Because once those years are gone, they're GONE! Work with something you LOVE!

it sounds quite simple, but when you are the bread winner of the family, it really isn't sadly, not all can just find a job they love easily without being jobless every now and then

Yes, everyone can. If you want it bad enough you can achieve it.

I have quit jobs because I hated them and the bosses were horrible and could not take how they treated me one more day.

That's GOOD! You did the right decision quitting the jobs. You should work with something that's fun, and you should be treated right!

@Rexion Thanks Elliot. I am self employed now, but, where I sell things I am not treated right. If I could afford to have my own boutique then I would just answer to the customers. Such is life.

@Hannihar You can always try and save, or just start a small boutique and continue on to expand it from there!
