Nov 11- What do you do when the weather turns cold?

It is raining cats and dogs right now. Mr Thunder , Mr Lightning and Mr Wind are competing with each other in the sky. Wonder why they are competing for....
As you can see from the picture, the heavy down pour of rain makes the temperature turns cold and breezy. This is the best time to turn off the computer, remove the plugs for all the electrical appliances, in case the lightning strikes. Next, prepare a hot cup of Cappuccino or Coffee beverage with some light snacks while enjoying the cool breeze and listening to the falling rain.
Otherwise, I would snuggle up under my thick blanket with a sweater on and hibernate! However, I prefer to enjoy watching the rain motion while sipping a cup of coffee.

@peachpurple It's a tile fire but doesn't have a brick chimney. I'll put a photo. You can see the 'flue' (chimney) at the top of the photo.

@peachpurple I took a photo of mine to show you how it looks like. We have one for every desktop computer in the house. APC is a very good brand and we use those Power Backups from many years. You have to change the internal battery more or less every 4/6 years.

I wear sweater, wollen gloves,socks and wrap a thick blanket on myself and sleep.It is very nice to sleep in winters. We get good sleep.

Rainy weather is the perfect time to curl up with a book, so that's what I do. Either that, or take a nap.

Not want to exist and hide under blankets haha I normally drink a lot of warm beverages with I don't like doing, and wear socks which I also hate, but then I also weird cute sweaters and hope to keep warm.

November 11th was my anniversary of coming to live here in Israel. As a matter of fact the day I arrived it was very rainy and windy and thought to myself what is I doing. So, as you can see I am still here 31 years later. So, back to your question. Sorry did not mean to steal your thunder but I had to add that . When it gets cold here I dress very warm when I have to go and have had to go out on very bad rainy days. I bring out the heaters and make it warm inside for us. I put warm blankets on the bed and change to the winter sheets and pillowcases.
