myLot scrutinises posts very carefully.

For last few days I observed that myLot does scrutiny all our posts very sharply before they are published. I urge myLot to clear some of the keywords under which we can't post our discussions. Did you observe that your posts were not published?

myLot has an automatic 'offensive word filter' which will give you a red warning and not allow you to post anything which contains one of the words on its list until you have edited it to remove the offending word. Otherwise, posts are NOT scrutinised before they are published but may well be monitored by human administrators AFTER they have been posted.

Now I kinda want to try using a naughty word in a post just to see the red flag!

@Daelii Try typing the Latin name for the human species, the name for a female dog, a word for a bundle of sticks, a word meaning 'to chuckle or laugh in a half-suppressed, typically scornful way'. I don't have a list of them all but some only work if you type just the word itself and some work if the word appears anywhere, even as part of a completely innocent word.

I have not noticed that the posts are scrutinized. There is a filter that blocks inappropriate words and that's it.

I have not noticed it. I have never experienced that my post didn't publish.

Post, then refresh the page... No scrutiny on myLot's part.

Sometimes a 'bad' word appears in the middle of a longer word and can be hard to find for a minute or two. But if your post has a 'bad' word you won't be able to post it at all.
