"You better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town", goes the lyrics of the popular song "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town". Who wouldn't have listened to that song especially during one's childhood, growing up years and until today? Indeed the idea or concept of Santa Claus is ingrained in the popular imagination. Did you believe in Santa Claus when you were a child? Do you still believe in Santa Claus today? Do you think that that the idea of Santa Claus is right or wrong? Picture credit: express.co.uk

@mandala100 Because As a child I can't remember being told anything abut Santa Claus. When I was four or five I remember that special Christmas when my mother went shopping and came back with packages which she gift wrapped and hid in the closet.

No, because we had not Santa Claus in Italy when I was a kid. We were told that Baby Jesus was the one who brought the gifts to the good kids.

@mandala100 We had another figure who brings gifts in Italy, the 6th of January and it's an all Italian tradition, it's a woman and it's called Befana.

I used to believe in Santa Claus when I was younger. I still believe in Santa Claus up to this day but not the bearded guy wearing a red suit.

As a child I always believed. I still believe and since this year I am not celebrating then perhaps when Santa gets done with his present giving he could stop by and play a couple of rounds of cards with me to keep me company.
