DIDN'T MEAN TO LAUGH.

Have you ever used the wrong emoticon with a response? A couple of days ago I was responding to a very sad post and instead of clicking on the sad emoticon- I clicked on the happy face - and pressed send. I was so glad that I noticed it in time and quickly edited it - can you imagine if I had sent the laugh emoticon ? with my kind of luck , that would be just the moment when my internet decides to run slow and I can't get through to edit it. I would be blocked by the author of that post for sure. Do you find emoticons useful?

I thought was meant giving someone a kiss. I mistakenly used that one quite a bit here until I saw that it means giving someone the raspberries, which is not a nice thing to do most of the time. I use the emoticons for fun, but I could live nicely without them.

I use some of them some of the time. I was on another site today where when you are commenting you can up or down vote the comment. So I up voted the comment on one of my posts and just before I made my reply my pointer slid and I also down voted the same comment. There was not way to correct the mistake so in my reply I also apologized for doing that.
