My second daughter has been sick

Friday night, when I tucked her in, after she was asleep, I noticed that she was quite warm. Even then I had a feeling that she wasn't going to be feeling well yesterday. I was right. She woke up a little before six, and she had thrown up a little bit. She was still quite warm. She spent the entire day resting on the couch. She threw up a few times during the day. She slept a lot as well. Considering how she was feeling, I wasn't about to stop her. I let her sleep, when she fell asleep. This morning was a little rough. She woke up around 2:30, and was restless. Made sense, considering how much she slept. She threw up again a little. I came down with her at 4. It's now 5:30, and she's sleeping. She's been sleeping for a little while, which is good. It's been a rough 24 hours. It hasn't been easy for her being sick, and I don't like seeing her sick like this. Hopefully, she's better today. At least, the fever seems gone, which is a good start. Probably something caught from daycare. It seems like quite a few kids were sick on Friday. Either way, hopefully, she'll be better today.

Thankfully, she does seem better, and I’m really hoping the rest of us are sick. I definitely don’t want my other two sick. I’ve been sick so much lately that I don’t want to go there.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re sick. For the moment, I haven’t taken her to the doctor, as she does seem better today, but if it comes back, I definitely will.

I hope that she gets over the bug and starts to feel better today. Try to restrict her to clear fluids, chicken broth and jello as it is easier on their tummy. Hopefully the rest of you won't catch it.

She does seem better. She hasn’t been sick since last night. I am still keeping an eye on her though. She has had something to eat and hasn’t been sick, which is good. A good sign.

It’s definitely never easy to see. I often wish I could snap my fingers and make it go away, but I can. So I do the next best thing. Snuggle and be there when they need me.

The sleeping all day is definitely a sign that they’re not feeling well. Sometimes that’s what we need to do. She is better today and I’m glad.
