This Is Too Early.......

Just before supper I noticed that it was spitting rain out. Just enough to call it rain, any less and it would have been trying to rain. After it got dark that rain turned to something else-snow! Yes, it is snowing here again. I cannot believe this, its so mild out this evening. This is just too early, I need to ask Mother Nature to lay off of that white stuff for a while. This is twice in less then a week. ~Photo is mine, of a huge pile of salt

I'm certainly not ready for snow. I think one snowfall, Christmas Eve, should be sufficient. We can't really complain though, the last couple of winters we haven't received a lot of snow...now the 2015 winter. That January, February seemed to produce an endless amount of snow.

I agree, but I can't find the email for Mother Nature, cuz I think that she should be aware of this as well.

Definitely too early! We're getting cold, miserable rain this evening.

Right about now I would take the cold rain over this wet snow. The end result is basically the same, wet roads.

We had a small snowfall a few days ago, all gone now. I hope that yours will not stick around.

On Thursday evening we got a bit of snow. It lasted until Friday, and then it all melted. This that is coming down now is hitting the ground and melting, its those big heavy flakes.

@alexjessi Snow is beautiful to look at but not so beautiful to drive in. It can be very tricky.

The wind that is blowing from yesterday evening is not cold, but it's strong and unpleasant. May be tomorrow we will have a sunny day.

@Juliaacv At least now the temperature is right for the season. It was too warm until the end of October.

We had snow twice in a week also but it didn't stay long. I hope it doesn't snow anymore this week i've had enough already even though it hasn't really started.

I thought that today was a beautiful day, too beautiful to be spoiled by snow in the evening. It won't stick, its melting as soon as it hits the ground, its those big wet flakes.

Ugh I'm not ready for snow either and so far only the Poconos north of us has gotten a little. Bet that pile of salt will only be a miniature mound by the time spring arrives.

They use that salt to spread on the roads to melt the snow. It is huge isn't it? We couldn't believe it so we took a photo of it when we were out for a drive and spied it.
