I Haz a Pea!

My hamster Robbie got his first pea tonight. I would venture to say he found it quite enjoyable and will be expecting more in the future. Yesterday’s treat was a piece of a walnut. No, the baby hamster isn’t spoiled at all. He currently ignores all activities in his cage excuhis running disk. I image he has very sore paws all the time from as much as he runs each night! But it makes him happy and keeps him out of trouble. And if you’ve ever had hamsters - you know there is nothing more troublesome than a bored baby hamster.

That's so cute. Do you take him out now and then for "hugs and kisses"?

I take him out for pets on his furry little head. He then plots my untimely demise. Baby hamsters aren’t much on being cuddled.

@Lolaze My sister once had a guinea pig. All it did was poop on her.

We don't have hamsters in Australia. It's one animal that they've managed to keep out of the country. Not that I imagine they'd cause much damage.

Maybe the hamster needs a partner.
