A Dizzy Blonde?

'Dizzy blonde' is a name for a cocktail. Dizzy (ditzy) blonde is also a word implies a blonde with more look than brain. (Ditzy: silly, scatterbrained) 'Dizzy blonde' came to my mind the first time I met that 50ish lady. Why? She was with messy blond hair and she acted like she was not all there. I have seen her a few more times (from afar), she constanly acted like she was a bit drunk or under the influence of some drugs. From what I found out, she had been married to a very wealthy man. Her children all turned out to be successful people (that proved that she couldn't be a ditzy type!). Made me think of one of my uni friends, an extremely intelligent and beautiful blonde. Have you ever met anyone by chance like that, who suddenly triggered your curiosity?

I have met people whose appearance completely belies their personality. I find such people very intriguing.

Dizzy Blond is the most horrible cocktail for my taste, I only like one of the 4 ingredients. Yes, I have met people who triggered my curiosity. I remember an ex-Blue Belle girl who lived in Monte-Carlo. She was in her late 60's, very tall, a lot of dyed blond hair, high heels, extravagant clothes. It was impossible not to notice her.

Have you tried a Screwdriver? Maybe it's Dizzy blonde's cousin. ;)

Sometimes being thought of as ditzy is an advantage. This saying comes to mind. Better to speed silent, and thought a fool, than to speak and prove it!

Very wise saying, made me think of the art of war used by the ancient Chinese military.

the pretty and smart people always say they have to try harder to be taken seriously or given credit due them.

You are right, too pretty could be a disadvantage in certain situations. (I have no trouble with that unfortunately .)

Oh Yes, I have met many I have wondered about. There is so much truth in looks being deceiving...

Funny how looks could be very deceiving. A few cold fish (from first look) have turned out to be firm friends with me later.

@bluesa The thing is, I dare not tell them the truth of the first impressions I had when I first met them .

Now I learned something new, dizzy blonde. Very rare I can see a real blonde in my country who usually have black hair. When a blonde comes here, she would be the superstar.

Hair dyes are really affordable these days (cheap even), that almost anyone who wants to become blond, could, within a few hours. You mean not many girls in your country dye their hair blond over there? Shocking! (Some people after dyeing their hair blond, they suddenly become dizzy blondes for real! Must be affected somehow by the toxic chemicals from the dyes .)

Yes because I am a blonde I do see and know many ditsy women and some that just look a bit crazy but are sane and smart.
