When the sun is up in the day, we expect it will rain later in the afternoon. So it was raining a while ago. My second Brother let his kids bathe in the rain because it was hard. There is a saying here in our place that if you bathe in the rain, your prickly heat will be gone. And so he let them bathe because they have prickly heat all over their face, neck, and back.
When I was young, I remember Father don't let us bathe in the rain because he is afraid we might trip ourselves. And seeing my nephews and nieces, I can tell. They will surely love their childhood because they experience this. Unlike me, I only experience this thing when I was an adult.

Used to do this all the time when I was younger. I hardly do it at all nowadays.

That's interesting that bathing in the rain cures prickly heat. I'm sure the kids love to do this.

the first rains of May is thought to be medicinal, according to my mother. that is why when my son was still a baby, we would collect rains of May and use that to bathe my son who had some prickly heat
