Are you healthy, wealthy and wise? Can you share how you got there? I will share one experience from my personal life for each one. Healthy: I am almost 68 and have not needed any medication for about 10 years, not even an aspirin. Wealthy: I have no debts and I have some treasure stored in heaven. Wise: I talk and listen to anybody and have learned so much.

Healthy - maybe I had better not talk about that right now! LOL Wealthy - the only debt is to the hospital, and that's being taken care of. I do have treasure in Heaven, too. Wise - Umm.. I usually listen more than I talk and I love to read. Does that count?

@1hopefulman I know there are more but this is the only one that comes to mind right now: Matthew 5:37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.' Do you know of others?

@peavey Good one! I was thinking of James 1:19 but I'm also sure there are others. James 1:19 (Easy-to-Read Version) 19 My dear brothers and sisters, always be more willing to listen than to speak. Keep control of your anger.

Yes, it counts! I was told that there is a reason why we have two ears an only one mouth. Can you think of a Scripture that makes that point?

@1hopefulman No, not really. Moderation in all things I guess. Although I am testing out whether having some chocolate every day improves my health. I'm sure it's improving my mental health as I'm much happier when I have chocolate! Just joking really.

Congratulations, I am 66 and I do not need any medication at all. I never took medication since the day I married (46 years ago). We have no debts, I listen more than I speak.

Good for you, Felix! I appreciate the fact that I'm relatively healthy for my age, like you, I also have treasures in Heaven and more than I deserve here, but I think I'm still lacking in the wisdom dept.

These days, with all that is going on, we can never have enough wisdom. I really like the point expressed in James 1:5 (American Standard Version) 5 But if any of you lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all liberally and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

@1creekgirl Would you like to share one point in the book of James that you appreciate?

@1hopefulman The book of James is one of my favorites. It's so practical and down to earth.

I eat healthy, but my only claim to health is that my memory of what it feels like to have a cold is getting dimmer every day. I haven't had a cold since I started watching my diet thirteen years ago. I am wealthy in love and caring - but not monetary. I consider myself intelligent , but one can learn something every day.

Since most people are in debt then if we have no debts then we are doing quite well.

I like to do a lot of things and when I am sick I am very limited in what I can do. I am constantly searching for ways to stay healthy. Health is wealth!

Some Great points here. I agree Wealth does not necessarily mean money. It can mean Wisdom, and I feel as long as you are willing to learn something new every day you are Rich, and that in turn can help others learn and grow from you as well.

That is a very wise point that you make and it can bring health, wealth and wisdom to those who apply it.

I like listening to others and I don't mind putting my two cents in now and then. I am reasonably healthy and I am able to afford what I need each month. Yes, all could be better, but actually I am very blessed.

My father's words of wisdom to us when we were growing up were those words. Try to live by them.
