Baby it's cold outside

Right now is it -6c (21F). I just can't get warm. It was so cold at work today. There was no heat on and we are in an old building so the windows are like 9 feet tall and very drafty. I was chilled by time i got home so even though it is warm in here now I am still cold. I took a hot bath and i am in bed over my blankets so I am hoping that will help. I don't know how I will survive the winter. It is going to get so much colder then this. Not looking forward to that.
Going to watch an episode of the Good Doctor and maybe have an early night. We will see. How are things going with you?

That's a shame, you have to be so uncomfortable at work! Some places are turning their thermostats down, which isn't fair to their workers, in the least!:(

He runs the furnace an hour before we get there and that isnit for the day

Burr! That is cold. Is the heat out at work, or do they just intentionally keep the thermostat low?

@Happy2BeMe Wow, that is nuts! Seems like heat is a must-have in an environment where it gets really cold. Does he do that as a way to save money?

He only runs the furnace for an hour in the morning and that is not near enough to warm it up. I wore my coat for part of the day today.

Oh gosh, poor thing! Person someone should tell the higher ups it is just too hard to work with it being so cold. We have yet to have anything cold here, this time last year it was freezing, it is actually kind of terrifying how hot it is here.

Well I hope your able to get warm enough to fall asleep tonight. I guess you will have to dress really warm at work and wear double layers to stay warm. Why is there no heat in your building ? That doesn't seem right to me.

We actually had a fairly warm day today. Hubby went fishing and did really well, and I cooked a beef roast. Today with the left overs I am going to make pasties.

Wow, that's cold. I think it is cold where I am, but compared to where you are, it's warm! Its been in the 50s as for the coldest. I can't stand the cold, and that's why I live here!

Yes, I can imagine it is so cold to work even indoor in such a cold weather if there is no heating. Did you buy something to keep yourself warm? When we traveled to the north place which there was snow, we would keep a little warm egg in our pocket so that at least it could make us feel a little better.

The temperature has gone down in Hyderabad. My mid-December it may reach even lower. I have to be careful. Yesterday, I open the almirah and kept all the warm clothes outside for their use.
