My belief and my colleagues too has been that an avocado fruit has too much fat in it and hence makes one add weight. We have been avoiding the avocado fruit believing that it adds fat. I have The other day while attending a health class we just discovered how wrong we were. With its proven ability to lower cholesterol, quell hunger pangs and even spot-reduce belly fat, the avocado is arguably one of only a few perfect foods to lose weight. Its a Calorie crusher, stabilizes blood sugar, acts like a drug to a healthier leaner, lifestyle and also is good for ones metabolism. For those who are dieting let us go for it.

@aureliah I can eat anything from rice to meat, vegetables to fruits, street foods to junk foods, maybe this is the good thing about being not fat.

Eat a lot maybe it might add some more meat. I also do not have too much meat i need to add some more too. I wouldn't mind getting a little fat. While my colleagues are busy dieting am busy eating.

I like avacado but I have heard it contains a bit of fat. But paired with healthy eating and exercise I cant imagine it would be bad for you.

I also thought it adds fat to our bodies only to learn that it reduces it.

Didn't know about its benefits for losing weight, but I did read that the fat in avocado is often considered "good fat" and that's why it's a good food for babies.
