A Little Lie

I told Bob a little lie. I said I would not be back to the hospital until close to when he is dismissed.
Not true. I cannot stay away.
I have a couple of tasks to get done, then I will get dressed and drive an hour to the hospital. Thankful to be able to do that.

Circumstances changed as far as another commitment I had. I try to be a toughy and pretend like I do not miss him.
