Yes! Marriage after 20 years can still be new and exciting!

Hello all! I wanted to touch on this as a lot of people believe that after 20 years being married is only dull and boring. I have been married to my husband for 20 years and we have had our ups and downs and people never thought we would make it this far! I am proud to say that we are! Each day my husband brings on new and exciting things to our marriage that I truly and dearly love! We had a fall out about a year ago as our marriage had hit a slump and we both knew with a few changes we could make it work and low and behold it did! Now, we are more passionate about one another than we have ever been! We go on dates and he leaves little notes and so do I saying how much we love one another. My advice to you is that if you have hit a slump in a long time marriage, talk to one another and let one another know what is bothering you and make those changes! There is hope! My husband is still the one and I will let Shania Twain tell it all! :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNZH-emehxA

all marriages have their ups and downs. This coming May I will be married for 30 years. He is my everything but some days I just want him to leave me alone lol. Doesn't mean we are headed for divorce not at all. We are retired and some days I just want peace and quiet.

It doesn't apply to Shania as she now has another 'one'.

I do agree with you. My husband and I are married 29 and a half years and we have had our ups and downs but we do still have good times together.
