I am happy that now my wife and daughter are well now. They again have to go to doctor tomorrow for routine checkup. I am thankful to God that none of them were hospitalized otherwise it would have been more difficult for me to look after them. It's been after long leaves I went to work. I was tired and could not focus on the job. It happens when we join office after 3-4 days offs we cannot focus on the job. Also my back is paining since yesterday may be that's one more reason I was not focused. On the whole it was a good day because now they both are feeling better and from tomorrow onwards my daughter will join her school. But really those were the tough days for me which I faced . How do you have such days when they come in your life?

I felt there was something wrong with your children and wife. I was absent for long time here so I have no idea what is it. But I know in Delhi many major fevers are spreading and many people are down with typhoid too. Glad to know that your children and wife regained their health.

I am happy to know that your wife and child are now okay. Just bear having to tackle a lot of job and being able to concentrate on your job well. That happens. Actually, if it were me, I would ask for another day off - to rest well. Then go to work after that. They will understand why you need the day off.

@sjvg1976 It is expected that when one went on leave of absence, his works will pile up. One just have to be discerning well what to prioritize amongst the piled works.

They understand it but I know the work pressure all must be having due to my absence that's the reason I went to office.

So glad to hear they are recovering well from their illnesses - I understand they were pretty serious illness and so lucky none of them needed to be hospitalized... Take care!

indeed, it would have been a challenge if any one of them were confined. i'm glad you stayed healthy, too.

You just keep going. Like you did. That's how you face them. I usually move forward by telling myself "It could be worse." Because I know in other parts of the world, it's a whole lot worse!

Yes, I think we've all had our own share of rough days like that. I'm glad both of them are feeling better. Maybe next week you'll be able to focus more at work.

Yes sometimes we do face some very tough days in life. Those days, nothing seems to work for us. But believe me, we need to get through those days like getting past hostile spell of fast bowling on a bouncy or a seaming track in a test match. We have to keep believing in ourselves and in God. I know it sounds very idealistic but things do move on. And if nothing works, always remember what Lord Krishna states in Bhagvad Gita "Do Your Karma and forget about fruits". I hope that things get much better for you in your life. Have a good time ahead.

We live in joint family and all family members are here to look after each other. I had a stomachache last 2 month ago (not completely gone) But got help from entire family. It feels better. I do Yoga regularly, so back pain/neck pain is not a thing for me. You should also start it, especially Bhujangasana.
