What do I mean by this? Well, if you are one of the many who have jumped in on the Painting Rocks and hiding, or trading them, then you can relate to this topic and can relate with how Fun it is. Tonight was dinner, painting for those who wanted, and an exchange of rocks. I will try and do some more postings later on some of the wonderful rocks I got. It was an awesome time with at least 15 people there. There are some talented people there, and many I now consider as a friend. Here is a Christmas Rock I have done, and this was the first Christmas tree. I even used Glitter on the rock for the first time ever. This was fun creating. So are you a Rocker? ~~TINA~~

I don't think that has caught on here yet. I've only heard of it on myLot.

I wouldn't mind painting a rock to adorn my front yard fence boundary but I'd have to be in the mood to waste my time like that @LadyDuck

I don't think it has caught on anywhere. It was the same with that stupid pet rock stupidity.

I think too many fads get started by people in their late teens or early 20s and what do they really know about what will catch on @LadyDuck

You did this? It's amazing! I love it. Feel free to show more pictures of them. I don't do these, but I would love to start. My sister participated in a rock auction a month or ago. A lady she knew was auctioning off rocks she had painted for the benefit of victims of Hurricane Harvey. She was an amateur painter, but so good. She bought one for $17 that was a depiction of Anna and Elsa (are those the right names) in Frozen. My niece really wanted it.

There was a woman in our local rock group that I became friends with who did raffles but they were free to enter. Hers were gorgeous so hundreds of people would enter to win.

There are also the kindness rocks that people leave in various locations. That is really neat too.

@rebelann The rock movement has really taken hold. Lots of people are painting rocks and leaving them as a nice gift for someone.

I didn't find any rocks that I'd want to paint and whats worse is even if I did find rocks I'd want to paint I wouldn't want to spend time do that, fiddlin on the internet is much more fun @Shellyann36 Have you checked your Irazoo account? I like to play their puzzle game and now I'm making more points towards a walmart gift card.

What an idea, I should find some good sized rocks then paint them and place them around my fence line.

I agree. I’d love to find a rock like this to decorate my home with for the holidays then rehide. Looks like paint markers were used.

That sounds so fun meeting up with all the other rockers. Our local group has not done that yet and it really isn’t very popular around here anymore :( I don’t even know the last time I found a rock. My kids and I made some for Halloween. It is to cold now to spray them outside so we won’t be painting any until spring.
