It's a Beautiful Day

It is a beautiful day outside. Right now the sun is brightly shining, there is a nice gentle breeze flowing through the house (love that fresh air), and the temperature is 74. I am loving it.
Yesterday I went to the doctor for my blood test results and I am happy to say that she was pleased. I also found out that I have lost 17 pounds in the last month and a half - thanks to the whole30 diet. Thank you @just4him
I also found out that the awful earache I have had for the last few days isn't actually caused by a sinus infection. Well, it isn't the primary cause of it. I have tm.
What is tmd? The full name of this is temporomandibular disorder. It is the joint on either side of your face that connect the jaw to your skull. I don't know a whole lot about it but I can tell you it is very painful.
Apparently they will be trying to give relief through steroids and if that doesn't help I have to go to a Maxillary surgeon. I really hope the medication helps.
Anyway, right now I am on a soft food diet. So I am busily trying to set up some kind of menu where I can eat soft foods where I don't have to chew and still stay on my diet.
Wish me luck.
I hope everyone in mylot land have a wonderful day.

That is totally awesome - WOW 17 pounds! Woo Hoo
I'm sorry you have TMJ. Eggs are the softest I know. Spaghetti squash isn't bad either, it's soft. Um, that's all I can think of. Looks like a lot of liquid, tea, coffee, water. That's going to suck for Thanksgiving.

I bet you are happy to have gotten a good report from the doctor. Great weight loss too. The BRAT diet is good. That is bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Easy to digest and all. Good luck on the other.

Good news and bad news....good news is the weight loss and good blood test results. Bad news....your painful jaw. Hope the medication works and no surgeon is needed.

I hope you can get some relief soon. That sounds miserable. I haven't been to the doctor in years, long story behind why, but I am going to have to go soon and am not looking forward to it.
It's clear and cold here today. I must say I like it better than the heat of the summers here. I plan on taking a nice walk around the park later.

I had tmj, which is quite similar to tmd. My jaw joints cause pain, in my face. I'm a trumpet player, that's what they said caused it. I hope you're feeling a lot less pain at this time.
