Friday afternoon on a cold windy day

Good afternoon. I have been gone most the morning. Good friends of ours invited us out to a small brunch at their home. We had a good one and this is where I get to had waffle with the works. Plenty of fruit and just good company After that just hanging out and enjoying each other.I liked that. Then we stopped at the market for something for tonight. Told Mike get some lobster tails and have it for salad tonight. We did not have lunch.So a good appetite for tonight. What kind of day did you have today.By the way market was so busy and tons of people there.Told Mike wait till next week it is going to be worse. People were filling up the basket.I looked at it and saying oh!all that plastic bags ugh.When are people going to be smart and bring their own bags? They really do not care Okay,my rant. Photo online

Walked, cleaning lady was here, and had five monster trees cut down. It was a very noisy day. Enjoy your lobster tails! We are having pizza tonight at home. It's too cold for me to go out for our normal Friday date night.

We have to pay for plastic bags now, and though it's just a few pence it seems to be working. Most people bring their own.

Plastic bags can only be used here in Eugene for vegetables you buy. There are none at the check stands anymore. My day was fairly quiet and I played ping pong this afternoon.

Lobster tails? How nice will they be? We have our own bags now but it's a bit of a challenge remembering to keep some in the car for when we shop on the way home from another engagement.

Nice! Glad that you had some good friends gathering there! I also forgot my own plastic bags when going to the market after a date date here now is Nov 17 at around 22:16pm

My daughter taught me to bring my own. Our stores charge you for plastic but my favorite store has all their empty boxes in the front to use to carry your food home in it, I love that because for my slate painting I deliver them in cardboard flats. Makes my life easier.

@amadeo I guess some people are not fazed paying for the plastic bags. I put my groceries in the cart and outside I put them in the bags I bring from home. Glad you had a good time. It is nice to relax with friends. I love going to my friend and we work and then stop and have a barbeque or lunch. It is really nice and relaxing after all the hard work we put in.
