The fragrance remembering me

Today I go to river to jogging, you know I have been doing it since I've got cough and I have to heal it with fresh air. I try to make it as routine activity, so my lung will be better and healthier. It's like a therapy, I hope I can make it as a discipline.
It's not usual, someone pass by me with her motorcycle when I am jogging. I smelled her perfume, and the fragrance is remembering me something. It's like the fragrance took me to imagination room, yeah. I remember a new book, the situation is in the classroom, and the room is when I'm in elementary school.
How can the fragrance take me to my past life? Did you ever have the experience?

Yes certain scents can trigger our memory. It happened to me many times.

Yeh, I have experienced that. It's strange how a fragrance can sometimes take me back all the way even to childhood-even when the memory isn't clear, the memory of the fragrance, it's a kind of memory of it's own.

@kakah87 I think more, longing. Longing, and not remembering why? So there is only the desire to return to the scent...so in some sense, when the scent is there, a happiness. But I can never really put my finger on it what it is, it's kinda mysterious that way.

@HebrewGreekStudies yes, it's a mysterious thing, sometimes I feel all of the feeling. Longing is often happened to me too.

Oh yes indeed, every time I join running activity and ladies with long hair pass me by I smell their shampoo, my imagination gets wild
