Sad to hear, he made many teenage girls swoon although he disliked being a teen idol. Had many issues with drinking which couldn't have been good for his health.

@amadeo Susan Dey was his close friend, throughout the years. She said how badly she felt, about his self-destructive behavior.

That is very sad. It seemed he was a very 'clean' young man compared to some. I don't know how true this was.

Fredo this was so sad that this has happened to someone whom I really did like but not seen for such long time. Although he has gone now I feel we have his memory to live on with. Robert Vaughn also went last year for something different but I will always miss that fella always.

When I saw the news I checked his life story and was quite surprised at what he accomplished musically. He was not only really good-looking but also very talented.

Growing up as a teenager I had posters of him scattered across my walls and in my lockers in school. He will sorely be missed. His daughter Katie is in one of my favorite television shows "Arrow".
