I have been noticing quit a few restaurants have been serving sweet potato fries because I see it on their menu. One of these days; I am going to try the sweet potato fries to see if I like them cooked that way. Have you ever tried sweet potato fries? Do you like them?

Yes, if made properly (crispy) they are excellent. A nice alternative to onion rings or fries.

Not exactly sweet potato fries, which I expect are cut the same way as the usual fries. But here, we call sweet potatoes as kamote, and what I've tried are called kamote cue. Similar to what we call banana cue. (I hope I'm not confusing you. ) Banana cues are saba bananas (usually 2) with a coating of caramelized sugar, skewered on barbecue sticks. Hence, banana cues. Kamote cues are similar, but with kamotes cut into disc shapes. Yummy.

Yes, I like sweet potato fries, though I have not make them on my own. I bought the sweet potato fries from Taiwan restaurants, I am not sure if this is one of the favorite snacks in Taiwan. I usually just steam sweet potatoes at home as it's healthier, but perhaps I can try frying them one day later.

I love sweet potato fries :-) Perkins used to serve them with a seasoned apple sauce, sounds gross, was actually quite good
